Wherever Krishna, the Lord of Yoga, is; and wherever Arjuna, the wielder of the bow, is; there is prosperity, victory, happiness, and a firm policy; this is my conviction.

Deep Meaning · English

In this profound declaration, Krishna transitions from describing specific manifestations of his glory to revealing the ontological root of all existence. By calling himself the 'seed' (bījam) of all beings, he asserts that he is not merely a creator residing outside of his creation, but the fundamental consciousness and creative potency that sustains the manifestation of every entity. This is the hallmark of non-dual reality: the cause is inextricably linked to the effect, and the effect has no independent existence apart from the cause. Just as a seed contains the blueprint and life-force of an entire forest, Krishna is the primordial vibration and intelligence that allows for the emergence of the moving and non-moving worlds. The second line serves as the logical conclusion of the Vedantic inquiry into existence: existence itself is the signature of the Divine. If anything exists, it exists only because the Divine presence sustains it in every moment. This challenges the seeker to recognize that the divide between 'subject' and 'object' is illusory; there is no object—no creature, no stone, no star—that can claim an identity independent of the Brahman. By internalizing this truth, the devotee stops perceiving a fragmented world and begins to see the heartbeat of God in every interaction, transforming life into a continuous act of worship.

Krishna is the singular, foundational reality from which the entire tapestry of existence emerges and within which it is perpetually sustained, rendering every object a reflection of His infinite essence.
