Deep Meaning · English
In this pivotal verse, Lord Krishna invites the seeker to transition from seeing the world as a collection of fragmented, mundane objects to recognizing it as a vibrant manifestation of the Divine. To know Krishna's 'vibhuti' (opulence) and 'yoga' (divine power) 'tattvataḥ'—in truth—means to perceive the underlying substratum of Reality behind every aspect of existence. It is not merely an intellectual acknowledgment of His greatness; it is an intuitive realization that every spark of beauty, strength, or knowledge in the universe is a localized expression of the Infinite. When the devotee deeply understands that the Divine is the source of all manifestation, their consciousness shifts from outward-looking sensory gratification to inward-looking devotional alignment. This realization acts as a stabilizing force for the mind. Because the seeker now sees the Divine presence everywhere, their focus no longer wavers toward fleeting or dualistic worldly objects. The 'avikampena yogena' (unwavering yoga) is the natural fruition of this wisdom; when one recognizes the Lord in all things, the restless heart finds its center and becomes eternally joined to Him in a union that no worldly circumstance can disturb.
True spiritual stability is achieved when we stop viewing the world as an external distraction and begin recognizing it as the unfolding glory of the Divine, thereby anchoring our consciousness in the Infinite.
