Wherever Krishna, the Lord of Yoga, is; and wherever Arjuna, the wielder of the bow, is; there is prosperity, victory, happiness, and a firm policy; this is my conviction.

Arjuna said, "Having seen this Thy gentle human form, O Krishna, now I am composed and have been restored to my own nature."

Deep Meaning · English

In this poignant moment, the overwhelming majesty of the Vishvarupa—the Cosmic Form that shattered the boundaries of time, space, and individual identity—recedes, allowing Arjuna to once again behold the gentle, human form of Krishna. This transition marks the return of the 'Bhakta-Bhagavan' relationship, which is intimate and relational, contrasting the awe-filled 'Creator-Creation' realization. The Cosmic Form was necessary to strip away Arjuna’s delusions of control, but it was too immense for the heart to hold in constant meditation. By returning to the human form, Krishna demonstrates His infinite compassion; He dons the veil of humanity so that the devotee can relate to Him through love (prema) rather than being paralyzed by the sheer terror of His universal power. Arjuna’s statement that he has become 'composed' (sa-chetah) reveals that spiritual enlightenment is not merely a state of intellectual or existential upheaval, but a return to a state of internal equilibrium. It is the restoration of the soul’s capacity to function within the material realm (prakriti) while keeping the newfound knowledge of the Divine center intact. Krishna acts as the bridge, maintaining His transcendental status while engaging in the tangible world, allowing Arjuna to see that the Divine is not just a distant, terrifying totality, but a present, accessible friend.

True spiritual realization is not found in remaining lost in the awe of the infinite, but in the ability to balance the vision of the Universal Divine with the tender, accessible intimacy of the personal God in one's daily life.
